Empty the Fridge Soup

Start filtered or spring water boiling in a soup pot.
Take all the veggies you have out of your fridge.
Select 2 to 8 that look like they go together. Always include an onion.
Wash and chop them into bite size pieces - by knife or food processor
Put pieces into the boiling water
Boil about 15 minutes and smell it.
Open your spice cabinet and smell some of your spices.
Select spices or a spice that smells good with your soup and add to the soup. Stir and boil some more. You can add more if they smell good in a few minutes. Or, just be safe and leave it that way. Experiment!
Some spices that work for me: parsley, basil, tarragon, thyme, rosemary, or chili powder (not all together)
You can also add cooked beans if you like.
